누타입

누타입은 여성 타입 디자이너 김슬기, 김진희, 이수현으로 구성된 타입 디자인 스튜디오이자 독립 출판사입니다. 디지털 폰트를 조형 언어로 삼아 다양한 매체로 확장하며, 폰트를 단순한 정보 전달의 도구가 아닌 예술적·문화적 매체로 인식합니다. 폰트의 조형성과 의미를 탐구하는 동시에, 전시, 협업 프로젝트, 굿즈 등 현실 기반과 디지털 양식을 넘나드는 작업을 전개하며, 폰트 개발 과정과 그에 얽힌 맥락, 타입 디자인을 둘러싼 다양한 콘텐츠를 출판물로 제작합니다.

Nutype is a type design studio and independent publisher founded by three female designers: Seulki Kim, Jinhee Kim, and Suhyun Lee. Using digital fonts as their primary visual language, the studio expands its practice across diverse media, viewing typography not merely as a functional tool but as a significant artistic and cultural medium. Their work moves fluidly between the digital and physical realms—spanning exhibitions, collaborations, and merchandise—while their publications document the processes and contexts of type design.
